SmartFocus.ai was born out of a problem that every creator and decision maker faces: the gap between having a great idea and knowing whether it will actually work. Too often, we're forced to rely on gut instinct and crossed fingers.

Many of us have tried the usual shortcuts, such as prompting ChatGPT to "act like a Gen Z consumer" or "pretend to be an expert in XYZ industry." But the answers we got back were surface level at best, with streams of unstructured text and few usable insights. It felt like roleplay, not legit research.

We didn't need another chatbot. We needed something more innovative, so we built it.

SmartFocus began as an internal tool, a way for us to simulate and forecast how ideas are likely to perform in the real world -- without the cost, complexity, and delays associated with traditional focus group research. But the more we used it, the more we realized something bigger was possible: SmartFocus simulated on-demand qualitative research with previously unattainable structure and game-changing depth.

Today, SmartFocus helps teams of all sizes test campaigns, refine messaging, explore customer reactions, and brainstorm all types of ideas with immediate insights. It’s like having your own dedicated research team, minus the scheduling headaches and hefty fees.
